Job Description
  1. The Software Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping, guiding, and executing technical vision and strategy. This position will lead architectural planning, delivery execution, and innovation through hands-on prototyping and deep collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Architect ensures that systems are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise goals and technical standards. This role requires a strong balance of strategic foresight and delivery execution serving as both a business-minded technologist and a practitioner. The ideal candidate will contribute across three core areas: Leading Product Architecture, Hands-on Prototyping, and Defining Architectural Vision and Strategy. The successful candidate will foster a collaborative, high-performance culture and promote the "Beyond the Best" service standards. Essential Functions: 1. Lead Your Product (Planning & Delivery) Guideline: ~40% | Goal: 20% Key Activities & Responsibilities:
    • Guide Product Owners (POs), Data Stewards/Business Systems Analysts (DS/BSA), Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers through architecture-aligned decision-making.
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions via actionable Solution Designs (SDs).
    • Create and maintain Tech Briefs and documentation for technical alignment. Software Architect 1 09/25
    • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements (NFRs), including scalability, security, and performance.
    • Deliver tailored architectural views:
    o Executive: Conceptual architecture and strategy. o Project-Level: Logical component and system relationships. o Technical Teams: Detailed, implementation-ready specifications. 2. Practitioner Guideline: ~20% | Goal: 5% Key Activities & Responsibilities:
    • Build and validate Prototypes and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to test new technologies or validate architectural approaches.
    • Assess feasibility and mitigate implementation risks early.
    • Communicate PoC findings to inform technical direction and architecture decisions.
    • Use exploratory work to inform long-term design and minimize rework.
    3. Architectural Vision & Strategy Guideline: ~40% | Goal: 75% Key Activities & Responsibilities:
    • Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, and long-term roadmaps.
    • Deliver multi-layered architecture views:
    o Conceptual: Business-aligned architecture vision. o Logical: System components, data flows, integration points. o Technical: Tech stack, infrastructure, deployment models. • Produce key architecture artifacts: o Statements of Direction (SODs), blueprints, and modeling tools. o APIs, data models, observability plans, and CI/CD standards.
    • Drive architecture alignment with enterprise objectives to ensure resiliency, scalability, and innovation.
    • Educate and influence engineering teams via documentation, architecture decision records (ADRs), and enablement sessions.
    The Software Architect in this role will support a customer-facing web portal that delivers personalized loyalty experiences across the company's various products. Key Responsibilities:
    • Own and evolve the architecture of the product, ensuring scalability, reliability, andmaintainability.
    • Translate business requirements into technical designs that support personalized dashboards, offers, and statements.
    • Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX Architect, and engineers to optimize performance and user experience.
    • Guide solution design across frontend (Next.js), backend (NestJS), and NoSQL (MongoDB).
    • Back end full stack experience required.
    • Ensure architectural alignment with security, compliance, and NFRs like performance and observability.
  • Lead modernization efforts, including removing direct MongoDB calls from frontend components, simplifying API gateway architecture, and enhancing CI/CD and monitoring capabilities.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and prototype innovations (e.g., personalization engines, content targeting).
  • Support upcoming roadmap items. Examples such as Home banner promotion updates, Google API-based address verification, and Email and phone contact management.

The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of hands-on experience in coding and strong programming skills in APEX, Visualforce, LWC, integrations, and other Salesforce development tools. The architect should have 7+ years of experience designing scalable, performance-driven solutions in Salesforce that meet business requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Must Have proven experience as a Lead developer or Salesforce Architect.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Analyzes detailed business, functional and high-level technical requirements to then design, develop, and implement robust salesforce solutions in collaboration with the Solution Architect on the team.

  • Utilizes programming approaches, tools, and techniques to best deliver the business requirements.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring reliability and performance.

  • Adhere to quality assurance and change management procedures including the documentation required for solution readiness and acceptance.

  • Code and test to meet the designs of objects and data exchanges for interfacing with Salesforce.

  • Collaborate and contribute to issue resolutions and gap mitigations to meet business & technical requirements.

  • Evaluate various technologies, develop proof of concept, and define the recommended solution. Be able to decide when to use out of the box features or go with customization or using app exchange products.

  • Stay up to date with new features coming up and releases by Salesforce.

  • Work with internal IT partners and business stakeholders, develop and maintain enterprise application architecture strategies, designs and roadmaps.

  • Participate in project intake meetings and be able to come up with high level design, time and resource estimates.

  • Ability to adopt best practices to meet requirements and overcome challenges.

  • Communicating findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.

  • Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning,3-Amigo calls, daily standups, and retrospectives.

  • Guide and mentor delivery team members, ensuring best practices are followed.

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience Required

  • 7+ years of experience in hands on coding. Strong programming skills in APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations and other Salesforce development tools.

  • 7+ years of experience to design scalable, performance-driven solutions in Salesforce that meet business requirements

  • Familiarity with key design patterns and best practices for Salesforce implementations.

  • 7+ years of experience with Salesforce configuration, data modeling, and customization to meet specific business requirements.

  • 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing APIs (REST/SOAP).

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Engineer to lead the migration of our SharePoint Server-side solutions from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2016 for our client in Columbus OH. In this contract role, you will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to both out-of-the-box and custom SharePoint applications. W2 with full benefits available. Hybrid role. Note: you must be located in Columbus OH for the project duration. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain SharePoint sites, work with contents including site and site collection features, list, libraries, permissions and other SharePoint components.
  • Execute product specification, system design, development, and system integration
  • Participate in product and program collaboration
  • Refactor SharePoint server-side applications and services to latest SharePoint platforms
