Job description:

• build product roadmap, manage, and adapt to meet objectives/KPIs

  • Lead a team of product managers, engineers and designers to drive the full product life cycle, spanning ideation, design, implementation, testing, and iteration and ensure team meets execution goals • Assess market needs in collaboration with executive management and sales teams.  Design analytics capabilities and perform ongoing and ad-hoc analysis to assess product performance and extract new product insights.

• Continually seek qualitative customer feedback to guide product decisions; be the voice of the customer

Desired Qualifications:

 •Strong technology background with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative field

• 5+ years of business experience in fintech, insurtech, banking ; 3+ years of software product experience

• Product domain expertise spanning the customer discovery, planning, and product development process; deep understanding of customer-centric product practices

 • Know how to leverage customer research and analytics to drive data backed product decisions.

 • Roll-up-the sleeves work ethic and “do-what-it takes” attitude to efficiently execute and drive for results in a fast-pace work environment

We have an exciting 6 months contract to hire opportunity for a Websphere commerce JAVA developer with a multi-channel e-commerce company. Required Skills:

• IBM Websphere Commerce experience
• Experience with tagging the web analytics
• Java development experience (Java EE, Jscript, JSON, Java Applets, SQL, HTML, CSS, Struts, Springs, Eclipse, JVM, JRE)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Solid understanding of WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
• Experience in coordinating efforts across DevOps teams which include support and deployments architecture.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science preferred, will consider equivalent work experience

Desired Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Ruby, Perl, HTML 5, PHP, SOAP, XML, Web Services, SOA, LDAP, ETL
• Solid understanding of Apache, HTTP Server, MQ Series, WebSphere Commerce, Oracle Commerce/ATG, Guided Search, Endeca, DB2, SQL, Oracle DB, and Linux
• Familiarity with software and web frameworks especially Push-based, Pull-based and Three-tier, ADF, IFW, TOGAF

Leads end-to-end solution architecture and coordinates with other architecture disciplines in the completion of the architecture models. Partners effectively with business and IT leaders including Product Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise strategies and architecture models. Facilitates the collaboration of all relevant architecture teams, development teams and solution engineering to create conceptual, logical and physical architectures. Collaborates across IT to find solutions and modify architectures given scope changes, discovery of previously unknown issues and/or any unintended consequences encountered during detailed design, construction and implementation. Resolves IT architecture problems through option analysis, which includes identification, assessment and resolution of business/technical problems in accordance to architecture standards frameworks and guidelines.Maintains and suggests new architecture standards. Qualifications: Computer Science Bachelor's degree or similar required, MS/MA preferred 3 years’ experience in architecture/design with background in software development required 8-10 years of experience in information technologies required 7+ years of experience in Java and Oracle required 6+ years of webservices and web application development. 2+ years of experience in health care industry preferred 1+ years of experience in mainframe and Weblogic preferred Experience with infrastructure preferredExperience with agile scrum preferred

Description of work: Develops and supports custom applications using Visual Studio, .NET Framework and C# syntaxes. Manages source code repositories and builds, using standard source control applications. Drives the adoption of standards to ensure Microsoft development platform remains stable, reliable, and secure for all users. Responsible for multiple projects and associated deadlines. Responsible for problem solving, testing, training and documenting of custom applications. Develops, maintains and supports multiple custom applications. Provides a high quality, professional solution for every request. Required and Desired Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Information Services or related field and minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience required. Strong communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills required. Good interpersonal skills and demonstrates a positive attitude. Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various assignments, project changes, and deadlines while remaining productive. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Strong background in application design, programming and problem solving in the.NET environment using C#. NET, ASP.NET, TSQL, and JavaScript, JQuery, and MVC are required. Experience in web services, Mobile development using Angular (2-4), Cordova (Mobile), Typescript and WCF preferred.
