Ideal Candidate:
– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with BS in Accounting or related field
– At least 6-8 years of experience working with accounting firms
– Strong client management skills specially with small to mid sized businesses
– Honest, hungry to learn, and eager to work in a dynamic environment
-Must be open to working onsite
Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage journal entries and perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct regulatory reporting and ensure timely submission of all required documents.
- Oversee tax preparation and compliance, including federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Perform accrual accounting to accurately reflect the company’s financial position.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure adherence to payroll regulations.
- Utilize financial management software, including QuickBooks and Excel, for efficient data management and reporting.
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning.
